Susan Boyle Intruder Charged – Susan Boyle can rest comfortably tonight knowing the intruder who invaded her home one late night in January is now behind bars.
Police confirm a teenager will face a court over the alleged theft of some cash at the house.
“A 16-year-old youth has been arrested and charged in connection with a theft that happened at a property in Blackburn,” a spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police in Scotland tells People.com.
Boyle, 48, had been recording her part in Simon Cowell’s charity single, “Everbody Hurts,” that raised money for the stricken in Haiti when she came home to discover the break-in.
While she was not alone and with a friend that night, her family previously expressed fears about Boyle’s safety, perhaps due to her newfound fame. A guard is now onsite at her home.
