Renowned director John Singleton was involved in a fatal accident in Los Angeles which killed a woman. Last Thursday, Singleton was driving west on Jefferson Boulevard near 5th Avenue when his Lexus SUV hit a 57-year-old woman.

“Singleton was driving his 2001 Lexus SUV around 8:00 PM on a Los Angeles street, when a female pedestrian, not in a crosswalk, suddenly stepped in front of Singleton’s car. Police say Singleton immediately stopped and waited for police and an ambulance to arrive. The 57-year-old woman, identified as Constance Russell of Los Angeles, was taken to a nearby hospital where she died Friday morning.”

A preliminary police investigation concluded that Singleton had not been speeding and was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

It must truly be lonely at the top in Hollywood. Because, it seems like either they’re strung out on drugs or they’re plotting death. Sad. Owen was rushed to the hospital where he was hospitalized. People were saying it was a overdose. Insiders including Perez Hilton are now being told it was a suicide attempt.

Janet Jackson is furious at her brother Jermaine Jackson. Jermaine abandoned his third wife and two kids, and now his mother, 74-year old Katherine Jackson, has to pay the child support and provide housing. Alejandra Jackson used to be with Randy Jackson and had two kids by him. Then she left him for Jermaine. Now, Jermaine has dumped her for another woman. Jermaine’s new woman has money, so he could care less. He’s going with the cash. Janet is upset because she pays her mother’s bills, so therefore Jermaine’s ex and kids are being supported by her. Organizers have taken the decision keeping in mind the furious students of the Muslim country who threatened to boycott a concert performed by artist Gwen Stefani because of her indecent reputation.

“We’ve informed Beyonce’s management about this issue of clothes, but it takes some of the fun out of it,” Contactmusic quoted, Razlan Ahmad Razali, the chairman of Pineapple Concerts, as saying.

Birthed of a musical revolution of her jazz musician parents. She’s been singing the blues since she was a toddler. I’ve had the pleasure of going to see this star on the rise perform. She’s absolutely amazing and her soul is so mature. She embodies a wide range of subject matters i.e. Racism, Sexism, Big Business, and Poverty. She’s even taken on some of the classics of R&B hits such as, Bill Withers classic “Aint No Sunshine,” and reworks Donna Summer in the funky, “Walk In My Shoes.” I’m still impressed that she’s so intelligent and dropped out of highschool for a GED. Yung Joc - Hustlenomics - Bad Boy Records biggest Rap Star presents, “Hustlenomics.” Yung Joc proves that he can stretch beyond what is expected of him. The album is very well produced each track Joc delievers. I’m rather impressed that his sophomore debut is actually so solid. “I’m A G,” proves that he’s the professor of his own art as he crafts his past over Chris Flash’s production. Cool & Dre produced, “Play Your Cards,” which helps open the album. I found myself nodding rather hard to the production it’s pratically flawless. The Neptunes takes their turn into a futuristic zone titled, “Bottle Poppin,” the 808 sounds so sweet as it beats. One of my favorite tracks on the album, “PakMan,” Yung Joc develops a dope approach and the production is supreme produced by Chase N. Cashe & Khao. The sophomore album is defiantly hot. Yung Joc keeps it street while showing the young hustlers that there are numerous of ways to make money. Don’t think for one moment that he’s just rapping about money. He has a song titled, “Momma.” Produced by. Jazzy Pha. That joint is mad nice. The album is a straight banger. Swizz Beats attempts to show that not only is he a producer but he has potentional to entertain as a MC. Swizz produces five of the tracks on the release of this project. The best track on the album is, “Part of the Plan.” Swizz attempts to deliver pieces of his past to the audience. I’m not quite sure if he’s the best lyricist/MC. M.I.A. - Kala - The first music review was about my love, M.I.A. M.I.A.’s first project, “Arular,” grew to the underground due to the huge political messages pacted into such a catchy album. After traveling around the globe to work with kindred spirits in Jamaica, Trinidad, Australia and US, M.I.A. presents, “Kala.” M.I.A.’s opens up with a mid-tempo beat of, “Bamboo Banga.” About two minutes into the song the beats grows into this monster that’ll have you dancing out of control. Tracks such as, “Bird Flu,” have little village girls, booming tribal drums, and a collage of vocals and whistles. Representing the massive hysteria behind the epidemic’s of, “Bird Flu.” Tracks such as “Boyz,” “Jimmy,” and “The Turn,” are beating hard and are club friendly. If you love your M.I.A. Political tracks such as, “Hussel,” and “Mango Pickle Down River,” are defiantly for you. While, I LOVE M.I.A. for being a political activist. I have to realize there are folks who love her for her beats and over the top swagger. I was slightly disappointed that she wasn’t so in your face with Uncle Sam. But, it’s all good.
