Nicki Minaj Album Release Date – With the success of Drake’s debut album, “Thank Me Later,” it appears that the Young Money label is looking toward the future release from Nicki Minaj. Minaj has quickly become one of the most popular artists in hip hop over the course of the last year. She recently confirmed the release date for her upcoming album via her Twitter account.
“Yes. It’s time. November 23rd,” she wrote.
Minaj spoke with MTV news regarding the release of her album. It is the most anticipated album to be released since the debut of her label mate, Drake, and is expected to sell well.
She said that the CD has been “coming along spectacular,” that she got to work with a number of different artists that she has dying to work with.
“I really didn’t think I would be this excited about the songs that I’m coming up with. I’m really, really proud.”
With her boss, Lil Wayne, is in prison for violating his parole which stemmed from gun and weapons charges. Wayne left Minaj and Drake to carry the torch for the label while he was away. Minaj’s first single, “Massive Attack,” did not end up as high on the charts as record executives had expected.
Minaj said that she will be more open about her life in her LP than she has so far on her mixtapes and songs she’s been featured on. It will be interesting to see what details Minaj is willing to reveal in her album, as a number of different rumors have spread around the internet about her.
