Love The Way You Lie Music Video : Eminem and Rihanna New Video – Eminem’s video for his upcoming single, “Love the Way You Lie,” which features Rihanna, will be debuting on MTV on Thursday. A number of photos have leaked from the video shoot that shows Rihanna and Eminem standing in front of a burning building. The song, which was an unexpected hit for both artists, has made its way up the charts and it taking the world by storm.
The video will reportedly be directed by Joseph Kahn, who is a renowned music video director. Rihanna only sings on the hook, and Eminem does a great job of painting a vivid picture as he raps on the verses. Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan will also be making an appearance in the video. They will be playing a couple that is going through the extremes of an abusive relationship.
“Joseph and I worked pretty closely together to make sure we got this right,” Eminem said in a press release. He also went on to say that the song tackles a very tough subject. It is a subject that Rihanna knows all too well, after she was beaten by her former boyfriend Chris Brown and had the pictures showing the damage make their way online soon after.
Rihanna has said that the song is something that she “needed” to do, in order to put the past behind her and deal with the domestic violence that she has endured. It will be interesting to see how Eminem visually portrays an abusive relationship in the video.
