Lil’ Kim Disses Nicki Minaj Again – Lil’ Kim continues to send shots at Nicki Minaj. The two have been publicly arguing for a number of days now, and even newcomer Drake has been involved in the smack talk, openly supporting his label mate Nicki Minaj in her spit against Lil Kim. The two of them have had shockingly similar careers. The content of their songs is amazingly similar, and has a very sexual style to it. They also are both known for wearing wigs, and rap in a similar style. It is easy to see why Lil Kim would feel that Minaj had borrowed from her and has refused to acknowledge the truth.
In her recent tirade, Lil Kim indirectly called out Minaj during an concert in New York City. “We love her, we just want her to pay homage so we can all rock together,” Kim told the crowd at the time. “It’s all about respect. You respect me, I respect you. You don’t respect me, then f*ck you.”
They continued to demand respect for several minutes on stage. Ray J had taken the stage alongside Kim and bashed Minaj along with her. Nicki herself has kept silent for the most part, and to respond she turned to Twitter, saying that she felt that she was being attacked by people who wanted to see her fail. Both of them have support from friends who are in the industry, but Minaj seems to have the upper hand, being on the hottest label and being active in the single game.
Both women will likely talk it out at some point, but it is not clear when they will be in the same place at the same time. One can only hope that the situation does not continue to escalate.

Well, I look at at like this. What goes around comes around in ways that we do not expect. Kim and Biggie spent years disrespecting the marriage that Biggie had with Faith. And even after Biggie’s death, Kim continued to disrespect the marrige and Faith by referring to her relationship with him in a song. Did she consider how that may have made Faith feel???? Lil Kim is one of the biggest selling female RAP artists of all time. And I can see her case, when she is just asking Nicki to give her some respect as opposed to her rocking the style. Remember Lil Kim’s video “Crush On You” featuring Lil Cease and the late legendary Notorious BIG? And then her video “How many Licks?” and when she was featured in BIG’s ‘One More Chance’ video? And you can’t forget “I Need You Tonight” the video featuring Junior M.A.F.I.A and the late R&B siren Aaliyah. All those styles Kim rocked them first. The revealing or sometimes even see-through clothing and the highly sensual musical style. Kim paved the way for Nicki and Nicki knows that, but it’s just the thing that Nicki makes it seem like SHE established the style all on her own.
It’s just like with the whole thing the media tried to hype with Mary J Blige and Keyshia Cole (minus the style of clothing). In the song “Game’s Pain” though Keyshia sang the words “See Mary J I want you to understand, you paved the way for me.. and I’m payin’ homage to you.” The so called “beef” between those ladies was squashed, even though I really don’t think there was anything personal between them it was the media trying to get something brewing.
But people need to understand that Kim is Kim. If she feels something is not right, what does she normally do? She makes it known. Like Beyonce. Beyonce steals dance moves, clothing ideas and treatments for her music videos from every one else, including live concert stage set ups. But she doesn’t mention a name that inspired her for the idea or anything. But yet almost everyone from the fans to the people on the music news channels can show you clips of artists from the 70′s, 80′s 90′s and even the 60′s that did the same exact thing before her.
