Kendra Wilkinson E! True Hollywood Story TV Documentary -Reality star Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett hasn’t always been the bubbly-quirky personality we’ve grown to love on our television screens. Years before living in the Playboy Mansion, our “girl next door” was battling drug addiction and depression in her hometown.
Fans who’ve followed this new mom and wife from her early days as Hef’s girl to maturing into her very own self-titled show as a woman, will get a candid look at what life was like before marrying her dream beau and giving birth to a precious son.
Kendra’s “E! True Hollywood Story,” which chronicles what she calls her “devil years” premieres later this week. She sat down in an emotional interview with E! producers to discuss the brutal details of the lowest and darkest moments in her life, when she felt as though she wouldn’t live to see another day.
“I ended up becoming suicidal, and I started cutting myself. I had so much pain that I just wanted to die. It wasn’t that I was trying to die, it was just that my pain took away from my pain inside,” she reveals.
Tune in to E! on Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST to see the full story.
In other news, Season 2 of “Kendra” on the E! Network kicked off Sunday. But these days Mrs. Wilkinson-Baskett is facing totally different struggles. This glamour model is battling her weight. A month after giving birth to a 9lb. future football player, she hasn’t been able to shed those extra pounds, making her feel less attractive and wondering if her husband still finds her beautiful. Focusing to balance marriage, motherhood and get back in shape for her career is proving to be stressful and harder than she imagined. To relieve the tension, the couple plans a date night, but not before Kendra is comfortable leaving baby Hank with a new babysitter. It looks like this season is going to be a huge adjustment.
