Kanye West Power Video : New Thursday MTV Official Premiere

Kanye West Power Video : New Thursday MTV Official Premiere – Kanye West will be premiering the video for his first single off of his new album, “Power,” on Thursday. The video will debut at 11 PM, right after “Jersey Shore.”
The self-described Louis Vuitton Don used director Marco Brambilla to shoot the video, and has been adamantly trying to avoid the “music video” label when referencing the song. Instead, West likes to describe the video as a “painting.”
The video is not your standard Kanye West video, and instead runs only 90 seconds, with his song playing in the background.
“It had this very dark, personal conflict within it,” Brambilla said. “Because of his own concept of celebrity and his own notoriety, he’s keenly self-aware of all these things. And it all came out in the music.”
The song first leaked onto the Internet in May, and was received well by critics and fans alike. It wasn’t originally supposed to be the first single from his upcoming album, but the public response was so strong that West had no option but to run with it. West has remained busy in the music industry, and produced two songs on Drake’s debut album, titled “Find your Love,” and “Show Me a Good Time.”
West has been seen on video making a number of appearances at magazine and other media headquarters, talking about and performing songs from his album. Thursday will be a huge night for music video premieres, as Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie,” will also be debuting on MTV.
