Kanye West Confession & Apology – This isn’t the first time that Kanye West has apologized to fans for misbehaving. He last came under fire when he interrupted Taylor Swift while she was receiving an award, shouting on stage that the award should have gone to Beyoncé instead. Some had speculated that he had been drinking at the time. His most recent apology didn’t state specifically what it was that he thought that he had done wrong, and was a very general apology for the many things that may fall under that category.
“But when I finally got the power, what the f*ck did i do? I’m so sorry to y’all, everyone one of y’all that had to fight for my name/ Everyone of y’all a year ago that I made feel ashamed/ Everyone that said “Kanye is that n*gga quick [inaudible] my name, And all ya’ll…I am the one to blame / and the people that I let down, I wanna tell you, right here, right now that I’m a new man and understand my position of power.”he said in his apology in a freestyle. He then went on to say that he was the one that was at fault, despite the things that he might have said in the past.
This could be another elaborate stunt to promote his upcoming album. West has gone into several different media locations and has rapped some verses for his album, and made idle chit-chat with the people inside.
A year has gone by since his last stunt, and West claims that he has learned a lot from his mistakes. He probably has, but will he be able to control himself from here on out. West trusted MTV to premiere his upcoming “Painting of Power” video, which will be a small 1 minute music video for the first single from his upcoming album.
