Look how young my soul has gotten by old age
This is the definition of a life of experience
The lessons learnt and the pain and hurt forgotten
The genesis of imminent freedom and the wisdom unforgotten
The much council received as righteousness drowns sin
The climbing of the many hurdles on the path to the eternal win
Sustenance in the insurance paid and the nourishment received
As I chart the course to beyond mortal breathing and the seed conceived
Like a newborn I hear my innocence shouting an anthem of novelty
With every letter, verse and line standing resolutely above mortal insanity
Living on top of gravity, the heavy load of sins animosity
And the lack of spiritual prudence use to give credence to hells possibility
But now I burst the social amnion and cut away from the umbilical
To live a life of total change dying daily to self and being more spiritual
My horizon is now fresher, am a green advocate changing the optical scene
And painting a new acrylic on canvas reality that boosts the self esteem
Yes struggles are still there, so too are worries and care
But I’m a newborn now and this feeling is so rare
So truthfully, look how young my soul has gotten with old age
I have eulogized my past with godly confidence being forgiven and turned a new page!
