If you don’t support Lupe Fiasco you’ll die a miserable death. If you don’t support Lupe you suck. Anyway, Billboard.com states that Lupe Fiasco will hit the studio this week to begin recording his sophomore album, “The Cool.” The artist told Billboard.com backstage at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival over the weekend that he is hoping for an Oct. 31 release date for the album via 1st & 15th/Atlantic.
Reiterating his desire to round up members of Pink Floyd to make a guest appearance on the project, Fiasco conceded, “Nothing has developed yet. But once the stew gets swirling and people start talking, you never know. I hope it does work out.” “The Cool” will be the follow-up to last year’s “Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor,” which earned three Grammy nominations. Between studio sessions, Fiasco will break away for performances at Lollapalooza in Chicago in early August and the Bumbershoot festival in Seattle in early September. He has also recently worked with Japanese rapper Big O on the track “City Wings,” a remix of Musiq’s “Buddy” and on a track from Atlantic labelmate Kevin Michaels’ upcoming debut. source

B5 project is almost underway slated for September 18th, “Don’t Talk Just Listen.” I’m assuming the production is in house. The track bumps through my speakers o-so-lovely. LOL, Diddy is screaming all over the damn track but it’s a hot joint. I can see this being a huge club joint for the summer. The boys are growing up and I’m expecting a more mature sound on this album. Probably not on some Jodeci or 112 type of shh’t but you know. Bow Wow did a great job gracing the track. What do you all think about the track?

I’ve always been a big fan of Swizz Beats production. He’s finally coming out with his own project which I’m told is hot. We’ll see and you all know I’ll be doing a album review on this joint. Check out his commercial…for, “One Man Band Man.”

San Francisco-based singer/songwriter Nya Jade has already drawn acclaim throughout the Bay Area for her unique music, a bold blend of sounds utterly unbound by genre, unified by Nya’s passionate, perceptive vocals. As an entrepreneur, Nya is also at the helm of the new “do-it-yourself” movement in music and major national critics are taking notice. Born in the West African country of Ghana and raised around the world, this Stanford educated artist created her own record label to do music her way. The duality of working as both artist and record label head has made her an exciting person to watch in the ever changing landscape of the music industry.

Tiffany Evans,15, project is going to be the bomb diggity. I’m soooooo proud of this charming young lady. This new track titled, “Girl Gone Wild,” is the bomb. Evans presents a hot topic of why do young ladies in our society grow up so fast. Evans delivers slick lines that’ll have you saying, “Get It, Tiff~!” This track was produced by the genius production team, The Clutch. I’m in love with the production and the way her project is coming along. I see big things.
“You’re the private school girl with your skirt rolled up.
Showing off what you don’t even got yet.
You need to button up your blouse and put back on your vest.
Because, you’re out here looking a mess.
You must be trying to catch a cold?” - Tiffany Evans

Finally, a young lady who is critiquing all the shit that’s wrong with the media. Hopefully, we can get some elegant videos and have her show these chicks how it’s done. Thank you so much Kezia for the track.
