Quickie (Rainy Days)

Today, is kind of a slow day I’ve been waiting for music all this week plus it’s raining! There hasn’t really been much this week so I’m giving you all the songs that have been released. My fave out of all the tracks listed will have to be Little Brother. They truly killed it plus I’m a sucker for smooth beats that aren’t overdone and kind of smooth.

Dre track is suppose to be extremely inspirational but it’s decent it’s featuring Keyshia Cole and she adds some very nice vocals with her ignorant ass.

Killer Mike does a very ego driven track titled “The Juggernaut” it’s wack but i’ll let you all be the judge of it!

Christina Milian was suppose to be huge this summer but ever since the break up with her and Ex-Boyfriend Nick Cannon she felt the need to express herself. I’m not mad at her for making her album and in retrospect I’m sure she regrets just picking Cool & Dre to do all her production. Everything Rihanna album is was everything C.Milian was suppose to be. Milian album was also suppose to be titled A Girl Like Me she had a track titled A Girl Like Me when her album was in pre-production. Meanwhile, since her album wasn’t So Amazin & flopped to the point of no return. I am posting the song that was suppose to be her second single which I think is hot!

Shawnna album Block Music is probably going to not sell much but it has a couple nice tracks. I think she should’ve never picked “Damn” as a second single not to mention the video isn’t all that nice. Download this track titled Hit The Back/Slide In.

While I was searching agencies for new event pictures, I realized that Roberta Flack was back on stage in London
at Hammersmith Apollo. Ain’t she a 40 years older Beyonce in the picture
above? The hard curly light colored afro hair with dark eye browns and
pink lipstick
is what they both got.

Chris Rock executive producer of The CW network’s program ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ and Jada Pinkett Smith, executive producer of the network’s ‘All Of Us’, take part in a panel discussion at the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena, California, July 17.

…”I don’t really get into nights, time slots, any of that stuff,” said Rock. “Just make it funny and people will see it. Most things suck. If something’s funny, people will know.” The move also places the show up against the powerful Sunday night NFL football lineup…. (Continue reading…)

Pharrell Williams did his thing previewing his new album at a MySpace sponsored party at Arclight Parking Roof Top, Hollywood. This album sounds like it’d be hot with all the cool guests on.

As the sun went down Monday night, some of hip-hop’s biggest stars lit up an uncharacteristically clear Los Angeles sky — none shining brighter than producer/performer Pharrell Williams, who previewed his long-awaited solo album, In My Mind, at a MySpace-sponsored show billed Pharrell & Friends. With the LP’s due date just a week away, Skateboard P called upon an all-star roster of collaborators — and approximately 400 MySpace friends and fans — to help kick-start the release of his debut solo album… (Continue reading…)

rossRick Ross is the man of the summer and he is just dropping as much as he possibly can get out there to keep the streets full. Meanwhile, this track is alright it’s starting to become his thing to repeat words over again like “whip it, whip it” well this song is titled “Push It“. Download: Rick Ross - Push It
kelis Kelis released her second single. This is what I grabbed as a Radio Rip the name of the track is titled “Till The Whells Fall Off” and its very hot. Kelis is kind of like a punk rock star her style, music, and just overall personality is def refreshing. I guess it’s because she’s a Boss! Download: Kelis - Till The Wheels Fall Off
musiqMusiq is back you all and he’s bringing another amazing joint. I like anything he normally does so I won’t get to into it I’ll just let you all hear it for yourselves and see what responses we get for this track titled “The Only One“. Download: Musiq - The Only One
papoosePapoose has NYC on the palm of his hand you know that though from his amazing performance with Busta Rhymes at the BET awards. This track is titled “Game Haters“. Download: Papoose - Game Haters

Eminem
WXYZ (which totally sounds like a made-up TV station to me, but I digress) reports on their local news website that a man named Miad J. claims he was punched in the face 4 or 5 times by Eminem Thursday night:
Miad says he was in the men’s room, using a urinal next to Eminem, when another man entered the men’s room and started to talk to the rapper.
He says one of Eminem’s bodyguards told the man to be quiet. Miad says he then asked the bodyguard to ease up on the star struck man in the restroom.”Eminem got done and boom,” Miad recounts. “He started swinging.”
Em. It is one thing to punch a man in the face repeatedly. It is quite another to do it immediately after using the restroom. Could you not have opted to wash your hands prior to delivering said beating? Or are there different rules of etiquette at play for strip club bathrooms? At times like these, one can only defer to Emily Post and leave it at that.

Beyonce

Beyonce is everywhere but ohhh shit yall she is going to go through it this time around. Firstly, I applaud her for stepping out saying that her father is very demanding and presses alot of business decisions. We already knew she was a robot but at least attempting to break code without Poppa Knowles she’d be another pregnant highschool dropout, frying hair in her mothers salon! Secondly, Momma Knowles betta get into it because a man is sueing they asses for 1.5 million saying that he hasn’t been paid for his work with House Of Deron. Lastly, Yonce’ your fans are pissed!:

If you still don’t know her name, meet the Def Jam’s new R&b chick Megan Rochell, born in Brooklyn to a black mother and a latino father. Her most well-known single The One You Need feat. Fabolous is familiar for some and some of that some couldn’t stop listening it because of its catchiness. Although video shot was made in May, video is barely ready to watch although it’s a plain R&B video has nothing special in it. YouTube to watch and comment what do you think.
Note: Interview magazine’s new issue will make this girl cover.
