Just because you write and sing about a basketball player in one of your hits doesn’t mean that you’re sleeping with them. So is the case of Nelly Furtado and Phoenix Suns star Steve Nash. In her new song, “Promiscuous,” Furtado sings, “Is that the truth or are you talkin’ trash, is your game MVP like Steve Nash?”

Nash says, “I’m flattered that she put me in her song, but I’m completely in love with my wife and two little baby girls.” Toronto gossip columnist Shinan Govani speculated that the two were sizzling off-court since meeting at a charity game in Canada last summer. But Nash says it’s baloney: “I met her once - with my wife - when she performed at the game. That’s the only time we ever met.”

Nicole Richie, who does not love Nicole? Let us face it she has always been the one that made us laugh! If you thought for one moment that Nicole Richie was a talentless woman, you are sadly mistaken. I believe it was an extremely good idea for her to stop talking to Paris because it took away from her creditability to be taken serious. Meanwhile, she has been playing the Cello, Violin, and Piano since a child if you need proof that she’s born to be a musician. Yesterday, 100 Black Men, Inc. celecrated its 20th anniversary. Bill Cosby, Chili of TLC and CSI’s Hill Harper were only a part of the attendences. The meeting was organized to happen at Georgia Congress Center, Atlanta. And here, there is a little story about 100 Black Men, Inc:

The concept began in New York in 1963 with a group of black men who met with the mission of improving their communities. As a sign of solidarity, the group adopted the name 100 Black Men Inc., and in 1986, nine chapters across the country combined to become the 100 Black Men of America Inc. Among its more than 10,000 members are corporate executives, physicians, attorneys, entrepreneurs, entertainers, elected officials and educators. The group addresses mentoring, education, health and wellness, and economic development.

As an inline note, I’m sure Bill Cosby is giving his another deep speech there, I wish I had the transcrpit.
