Chris Brown Walks Out Of Virginia Radio Station Interview
Chris Brown Walks Out Of Virginia Radio Station Interview – Chris Brown was in the middle of an interview with Q94 radio station in Richmond to promote his benefit concert for Haiti – before pitching a hissy fit and storming out of the studio.
According to various online reports, the singer turned straight diva yesterday (April 29) at Richmond’s Q94 WRVQ during a prerecorded interview with radio personality Kash, which was later aired live.
Obviously still a little sour and frustrated that his career is on a downslide, the R&B crooner complained of his songs not getting airtime, asking the disc jockey why he wasn’t playing any of his records.
Kash responded saying, “Mr. Chris Brown, you just don’t have any hits and that’s just the truth. You don’t have any hits right now.”
Upset by his response the pop star lashed out at him before walking out saying, “All I’m saying is that you don’t play my sh*t. What number is it (my song) at? It don’t matter. Why am I even doing this interview? I ain’t doing this sh*t!”
The Virginia radio host has since reported that he’s received several phone calls from executives at Jive apologizing for their artist’s “diva-like” behavior.
Kash is also denying claims that he altered the audio to shed Brown in a negative light. He took to his Twitter page to set the record straight.
“For the record, my interview with Chris Brown was posted with the entire amount of audio I got minus dead air. I tightened it up for radio play. Apparently blogs are thinking I edited it to make homeboy look like a d**che, but no editing can create that level of d**che-bagery.”

I don’t think his behavior was “dive-like” at all; he got frustrated by an ignorant DJ
Why does the media insist on bothering this man?! First he was removed from the BET line up to perform for the Michael Jackson (his IDOL) tribute, which was trash anyway; then he had to deal with his charges in court, people picking on him, can’t have his 21st birthday at clubs cuz they fear his image will give them a bad image and will potentially harm Rihanna from coming to that place of business (which is extremely dumb). What does Chris Brown STILL have to do with Rihanna? That mess happened a year ago, she’s moved on, he’s resented it and apologized and STILL no one is cutting him slack? If you keep picking on a person who’s done something wrong and continue to throw their past in their face, you’re gonna get that person frustrated. LEAVE HIM ALONE! Play his music, play his video, stop hatin before you turn him to suicide!
Hey Nae,
The sad reality is he doesn’t even matter any more. This POS is a has been. NO ONE wants to listen to his latest garbage music that he produced. The radio stations don’t even care. He still thinks he has this sense of entitlement and he doesn’t deserve it in the first place. It is “Game Over” baby!!
i agree so much with Nae Hariss, KUT THIS MAN SOME SLAK! People out here should be happy he’s putting on entertainment. that Rihanna Bullsh*t was a mistake!! He’s not acting like a punckk b*tch he’s showning him slef out like any other artist would. every otherrrtistdid somethin wrng eveyone acts like he top every one…. this is BULL SH*(T!!!!!
Disregard my misspellings, I was mad LOL
AND ANOTHER THING: treating him like that doesn’t justify anything and what you may say about him or actions you make towards him doesn’t make you any better than him; it makes YOU look like the ass.
The media does not act as a mediator between two parties; they’re instigators. Rihanna doesn’t care what Chris Brown does; she’s doing her own thing, dating someone else, continuing her career and that’s that. I don’t condone what Brown did at all but domestic violence goes both ways: he didn’t get beat as severe as Rihanna but she fought him too. If you wanna be so judgemental, take her music off the air too; treat her like an elephant in the room.
Ms. Harris:
No one OWES Chris Brown anything! It is every business owner & fans prerogative to refuse to support his comeback efforts. Actions have consequences and HIS just might be the failure of his music career. His options are: pursue another career path, go to college or keep trying to make a comeback.
Regardless of his desire to continue in music, that may NO LONGER be an option for him. Remember that business is about supply and demand. There isn’t as much demand, so companies must supply what IS being demanded.
NEXT!
Fans of this chump can “Gangstro-turf” these message boards all they want, won’t change anything for Chris Brown, the public’s perception of him grows more accurate with each incident. Wasn’t he running around in Nov/Dec telling everyone that record stores had conspired to not sell his C.D. or put up his promo stands? I think he also claimed Oprah was ungrateful for his charity work to her school and was “out to get him”. Truly hysterical rantings from a d-list celebrity desperate to get on the gravy train with REAL entertainers that have talent. So he can probably ride this wave of whining to the end of 2010, and in 2011 when his record deal gets yanked he can quietly follow his destiny into gay porn! (LMAO) Somebody holla back at me when that happens, until then this guy is a chump unworthy of the time it takes to write jokes! The only reason I still pay attention is to see who’s dumb enough to support his violent behavior so I can also boycott their products
I DON’T UNDERSTAND I SAW THE INTERVIEW AND THE MAN WAS GIVIN CHRIS HIGH PRAISES AND HE
EVEN PLAYED YO THE SONG SO DID THEY REDO THE INTERVIEW OR IS THIS A RUMOR?;/
Naw Harris it seems that you don’t understand how the business works. First, the radio can ONLY play hit songs that are hot at that moment. That is why you often change the station and hear the same song playing on different stations. The radio host was right Chris doesn’t have any hits and if he wasn’t such a “diva” about it the host was going to play his song later that day. The reason the public hasn’t forgiven Chris is because he plays victim. He made a mistake, no one forced him to hit Rihanna. Yes, he apologized but look at his actions he walks around cursing everyone out like he didn’t do anything wrong, this isn’t the first time he has had a bitch fit. He really needs to hire a public relations firm to handle his image or at this rate he will never be excepted. Secondly, it is not “extemely dumb” for clubs to not want Chris there. Rihanna is a bigger star than Chris and has more connection in Hollywood so let’s say “Club X” allows Chris to have a party there not only could Rihanna not want to be affliated with that club but you also could have Jay-z, Beyonce, Kanye, Lady Gaga, and other top preformers back away from the club. Look at what happened to Cristal when Jay-Z said they were racist the entire game stop drinking Cristal, even though Cristal’s remarks were taken wrong by Jay-z. Clubs are just trying to do smart business with no feelings involved which it seems you but to much feelings into business.
Are we suppose to listen to someone about the business that calls themselves Vanilla Coco? You sound confused about who you are with that title. And it is a shame that people can’t think for themselves. We got too many followers instead of leaders. So what if people hate on Chris if you like him world then you do you. Buy what and listen to what you want. Don’t let haters like Vanilla Coco make you change your minds about what you think. And who cares about Jay-Z who also has a history of violence on women, but has a great PR team to HIDE his mis-dealings. Use someone else if you want to make a point.
See, this kind of stuff makes it hard for me to be in Chris’ corner. He still whinning and crying about it. COME ON, CHRIS!!! AIN’T NOBODY GONE FORGET THAT YOU ASSAULTED A FEMALE!!! Given, she probably hit you first and kept on hittin’ you, you gotta keep yo stuf together if you wanna keep you career!!! I’m still kinda trippin’ off how everybody was all over Chris hitting Rihanna but hardly anybody said a word about Charlie Sheen ass beating his wife WITH A WEAPON!!! Domestic violence is wrong and happening to too many women. Everybody was on Chris, they should be on Charlie.
