50 Cent On Lil’ Kim/Nicki Minaj Beef – The recent beef between Lil’ Kim and Nicki Minaj has been weighed in on by a number of heavyweights in the rap game. Now, 50 Cent has a few things that he has wanted to get off of his chest regarding the incident. Kim first attacked Minaj during a concert. She has demanded respect from Minaj on several different occasions and has even gone on to say that she believes that she is the creator of the style that Minaj uses in her rhymes. While many see the similarities between their two styles (they both have been known to wear wigs, they both rap with similar styles, etc.), there are still some noticeable differences between the two of them.
“It’s probably a little more irritating to see Puffy stand next to Nicki Minaj and for him to say that [Rick] Ross reminds him of Biggie,” 50 said when he weighed in on the situation. He also went on to say that he thinks that it is obvious that Nicki was inspired by Kim’s style, but also went on to say that he didn’t think that it was necessarily that big of a deal, that those influences are seen throughout female rap artists who often have to resort to the same tactics to get noticed by the mainstream.
50 Cent continued to take shots at Diddy. Diddy, who once had Lil’ Kim signed to his Bad Boy label, has not stood by her throughout the dispute, and 50 Cent stopped just sort of saying that Diddy is using the beef to further his career and draw more attention to himself. He suggested that Diddy aligning himself with rapper Rick Ross, and backing Minaj in the beefs look more like desperate moves than calculated business moves. Could Diddy be looking to revitalize his career through others?

i feel 50 on this one, kim is making this a big deal. kim is basically scared that nicki just might take over the female rap game. i mean, its already happening right before out eyes. plus, kim probably feels lyk nicki is takin her fans as we speak. kim is worried that nicki will basically replace kim and bury kim alive. new female rappers might look at nicki in about 5 years (is she still doing her thing) and say, i wanna be lyk her, not lyk kim. so kim needs to sit down, with that jacked up face. i dont blame nicki for not giving kim respect. who would wanna respect someone who looks lyk something i can find underwater or something.
